Can't get your head round Twitter and http://voices.realestate.co.nz?

Until recently I've been sellingf or Harcourts Levin as a Levin Sales and Marketing Specialist and used social media marketing to become the easiest sales consultant to find online.

Realising that there are other agents who can benefit from some tactics that helped me I decided to release a Twitter ebook (that's a flash way of saying a downloadable PDF file with tips, tricks and techie shortcuts).

Isn't funny what people think and say?

I had a very interesting call today - IRD rang me to say they think I haven't paid enough tax ...when I asked why that was they informed me "we have been informed that ...you are an IT Manager... and you have underpaid your tax".

Well BUGGER ME!

I'm quite excited by this revelation - from one simple BLOG post saying I was no longer working at Harcourts Levin some misinformed person has suggested to IRD that I am now newly qualified and have a high paying role as an IT manager.

I appreciate their leap of faith in my abilities - sorry but under the fair trading act and laws of common decency I feel I must confess I am neither an IT Manager nor am I earning the big bucks.

Obviously I am being completely flippant - BUT more seriously I genuinely question the professional etiquette and integrity of people that:
  1. make statements like this
  2. organisations/people that initiate investigations without checking the validity of facts or question the motivation of individuals who knowling or ignorantly make false declarations to IRD
In times of economic recession and uncertainty its fair to say most people have better things to do or if not -they bloody well should!

THAT derserves a serious thumbs down  (although a thumb up an uncomfortable area might be more appropriate).

Mason is no longer working at Harcourts Levin

I have been working at Harcourts Levin for a little over twelve months and have learnt a lot about Levin, its people and how Levin "ticks".

I've really enjoyed working for my Levin clients - both buyers and vendors here in Levin are brilliant to deal with but I've decided to try something else. While I'm not 100% sure what the future is or will be I just yet but I will be staying connected to Real Estate and Levin.

With that in mind I will be maintaining:
  1. my website http://masonparker.co.nz/
  2. my blog http://noaddedfluff.com/
  3. and the Levin Property Report http://masonparker.co.nz/levinpropertyreport
